The Transjordan Government today responded to the request of the United Nations Conciliation Commission for Palestine for immediate resumption of peace talks between Israel and the Arab states.

The reply insists that the question of the repatriation of Palestine Arab refugees must be settled before the peace negotiations begin. The same answer was given the Commission about ten days ago by the other Arab states.
