Trees Planted for Van Vriesland Park in Palestine

The first trees of a 4-acre Van Vriesland Park, in memory of Siegfried van Vriesland, general manager of the Tel Aviv port and of the Palestine Potash Company, who died Dec. 4, 1939, were planted Friday by the American Zion Commonwealth in the presence of Mrs. van Vriesland, friends and members of the Municipal Council prior to Mrs. van Vriesland’s departure for the United States.
