A three-power conference to consider the problem of immigration of refugee and displaced Jews in the western part of Europe opened here today. The United States, France and Belgium are represented.
The conference was called by France last November following British protests at the sailing from Marseilles of a vessel carrying visaless Jewish immigrants to Palestine. The U.S. was invited because many of the refugees come from the American zone of Germany.
