Truman is Invited to Attend Washington Concert of Israel Philharmonic Orchestra

Dr. Serge Koussevitsky at a press conference outlined plans for a concert of the Israel Philharmonic Orchestra in Constitution Hall here Jan. 7, which will open a series of concerts in 55 major cities of the United States. President Truman was invited to attend the opening here. Others, including Cabinet members, diplomats, Congressional leaders, and other government officials have been invited.
