President Truman has appointed Jacob Blaustein, president of the American Jewish Committee, as a public member of the National Advisory Board on Mobilization Policy. Mr. Blaustein replaces John Lord O’Brian who resigned.
The N.A.B.M.P. is considered the top advisory board in Washington. It meets in the Cabinet Room of the White House with the President in attendance at certain of its sessions. The board is comprised of four representatives each from industry, labor, agriculture and the public.
