Turkey Protests Transfer of Israel’s Foreign Ministry

The Turkish Government has sent Israel a note protesting the transfer of the Israel Foreign Ministry from Tel Aviv to Jerusalem, it was announced here.

The note informed the Israel Foreign Ministry that the Turkish Legation in Tel Aviv would not move to Jerusalem, as it and other foreign missions had been invited to do. The note stressed that the Turkish Government considers the transfer to Jerusalem a violation of United Nations resolutions on Jerusalem.
