Minister of the Interior Shukry Bey today arrived at Adrianople to conduct an inquiry, the purpose of which is to discover the officials responsible for the recent anti-Semitic outburst that resulted in the expulsion of thousands of Jews from Turkish Thrace.
The Minister also stated the task of repatriating those families that have been driven out ### under way. A number of them have already been returned to their homes at the expense of the government, but many others are so terrorized that they fear to take advantage of the government’s aid.
