Turkish National Assembly Votes Subsidy to Jewish Hospital

The Turkish Grand National Assembly has voted to grant a subsidy of 65,000 lira ($22,000) to the Jewish Hospital of this city for 1955. The grant was requested by Henry Soriano, a Jew, who is a member of the Assembly. The Budgetary Commission’s vote was unanimous.
