Twelve members of the New York Police Department and U.S. Army are slated to visit Israel next week. The 12, who were involved in rescue efforts following the Sept. 11 terror attacks, will visit for a week as part of a program organized by the Israeli Consulate in New York and the Conference of Presidents of Major American Jewish Organizations, the Israeli daily Ha’aretz reported.
