A large force of Arab infiltrates were driven back into Egyptian territory in the vicinity of Gaza last Thursday, a military spokesman revealed here today. He said that the force, discovered by an Israeli border patrol, retreated after an exchange of fire with the Jewish troops. The infiltrates appeared to have suffered some casualties, but the Israelis were unscathed.
