Two Israelis and an American will share this year’s Nobel Prize for Chemistry. The Royal Swedish Academy of Sciences recognized Aaron Ciechanover and Avram Hershko of the Technion in Haifa and U.S. chemist Irwin Rose for their breakthrough research into the human immune system in the 1980s.
