The two Israelis kidnapped by Algerian nationalists some time ago while on a mission for the Jewish Agency have been murdered, it was reported here today from the Algerian city of Oran. The two were identified as Jacob Hassan and Raphael Ben Gera.

A four-man mission last week viewed four bodies recovered by the French authorities several weeks ago and until then unidentified, the report stated. One of the men was reported to be Ben Gera’s dentist. They are said to have identified two of the bodies as the Israelis. However, this report cannot be confirmed by Jewish Agency officials in Paris, one of whom told the Jewish Telegraphic Agency that “there is some hope left.”
