Two Residents of South African Home for Jewish Aged Found Murdered

Two residents of the Jewish Aged Home here, Mrs. Anne Jacques, 72, and Mrs. Elda Zabow, 64, were found murdered in the room they shared, with their throats cut. Police have yet to come up with a motive for the heinous crime, it was reported today. There was no sign of robbery. The Jewish Aged Home is now under police guard.

Mrs. Jacques was a retired teacher from the Herzila Jewish Day School in Cape Town. She lived at the home for a year. Mrs. Zabow lived in the home for several years.
