Two U.S. senators want the State Department to add Saudi Arabia to a list of religiously intolerant nations. Sens. Charles Schumer (D-N.Y.) and Susan Collins (R-Maine) wrote the department asking it to designate Saudi Arabia a “country of particular concern,” which would subject it to economic sanctions if it does not improve treatment of religious minorities.
