Hundreds of resolutions from all sections of the country asking for the passage of Senate Resolution 154, introduced by Senator Millard E. Tydings of Maryland, are in the hands of the Senate Committee on Foreign Relations, where the Tydings measure is being considered. Senate Resolution 154, if adopted by the Senate, would place that body on record as protesting against Germany’s persecution of Jews.
NUMEROUS RESOLUTIONS
Numerous resolutions have been received from citizen groups in Cleveland, San Francisco, Dallas, Brooklyn, and the Bronx. In addition to the resolutions, the Committee on Foreign Relations has received hundreds of letters and telegrams requesting the passage of the Tydings resolution.
