Under a broiling sun, the members of the U.N. inquiry committee spent today visiting the vicinity of the Dead Sea and watching the Palestine Potash laboratories process chemicals.

Several members of the committee swam in the Dead Sea prior to a lunche on given them by Moses Novemeisky, general manager of the Palestine Potash Co. Ltd. The delegates were greatly impressed by the collective settlements in the area which Jews have developed by laboriously washing out salt and making the earth arable.
