U. N. Director for Arab Refugee Relief Work Leaves for Post Today

Dr. John H. Davis, Harvard University economist and newly-appointed director of the United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Arab Refugees, said here today that he is leaving for his post in the Middle East with an open mind and with “no pat formula.” Dr. Davis is sailing tomorrow and will assume his post at UNRWA headquarters in Beirut March 1.
