U.N. Security Council Calls Mediator to Testify on Jordan’s Charges Against Israel

The Security Council this week-end heard Jordan’s charge that Israel had violated its frontier and had broken the armistice agreement.

At the suggestion of the United States delegate, the Council agreed to invite Maj. Gen. William E. Riley, U.N. truce chief in Palestine, to attend its next session on the problem. No date was set for the next meeting.
