Eric Ward of Melbourne, Australia, has been appointed resident representative in Israel of the United Nations Technical Assistance Board it was announced here today. Mr. Ward, who served as acting resident representative in Israel during 1954, is expected to arrive in Jerusalem on November 1 to take up his permanent duties.
