Harry Greenstein, advisor on Jewish affairs to the American high command in Europe, arrived here today at the request of local American military authorities. Greenstein recently returned from a visit to Israel where he conferred with Premier David Ben Gurion.
Greenstein, who is scheduled to review the entire DP situation with U.S. Army officers here, was impressed by the influx, of Hungarian Jews. He will propose the acceleration of their transfer to Israel and the subsequent closing of the DP camps here, A total of 1,200 refugees left for Israel this week-end.
