U.S. Chamber of Commerce Urges Origins Repeal

The United States Chamber of Commerce passed a resolution favoring the repeal of the National Origins provision of the Immigration Law of 1924. The resolution carried a recommendation for continuance of the quota limit system now in operation, based upon 2 per cent of foreign-born living in the country in 1890.
