The United States Department of Agriculture announced yesterday it has awarded three research grants to the Hebrew University of Jerusalem. The grants, totaling more than $130,000, will cover studies of genetic changes in forage crops, the effects of drought on crop productivity and control of a disease which attacks corn crops. The studies will be carried out over a period of several years.
