U.S. envoy Anthony Zinni discussed Israel’s security needs with Ariel Sharon. During the meeting with Zinni, the Israeli prime minister said Palestinian Authority President Yasser Arafat had established “a coalition of terror” with Hamas, Islamic Jihad, Hezbollah, the PLO, the Palestinian militias and the Force 17 presidential guard. Zinni also took a helicopter trip over the West Bank with Sharon.
