George S. Messersmith, United States Minister to Austria, who has been in this country on a visit, will leave at noon today on the Washington to resume his duties in Vienna. When he arrived here more than a month ago, he informed the Jewish Daily Bulletin that the position of Jews in Austria appeared to have improved under the Schuschnigg regime as compared to the Dollfuss rule.
