The Kaiser Aluminum Company of the United States and Israeli Mining Industries of Tel Aviv, signed an agreement today under which the American firm will build a $2, 000, 000 phosphoric acid plant in Louisiana using a process developed by the Tel Aviv company.

The agreement provides a license to Kaiser for use of the process which is said to yield a higher quality acid than has previously been possible. The American firm also participated in a survey project in Israel on the acid which is used in fertilizers and in a variety of other industrial and chemical processing applications.
