The U.S. Government today appointed a leading American labor efficiency and productivity expert to proceed to Israel for the purpose of studying methods to increase production there. The expert, Hy Fish, will leave for the Jewish state on June 30 and will remain there for four months.
Mr. Fish will advise Israel industrialists on plant layout, handling of machinery, job evaluation, production scheduling and control, wage incentive plans and other techniques. A consultant to a number of American manufacturing companies, Mr. Fish is also assistant director of the Labor Education Division of Roosevelt College, in Chicago.
