A Hebrew University scientist, Dr. Dov Koller, of Jerusalem, has been given a grant of $82,500 by the United States Department of Agriculture for a five-year study of the developmental physiology of perennial pasture grasses, it was announced here today.
Dr. Koller, a botanist, will carry out the study in Israel’s Negev Desert and in arid and semi-arid regions in this country. The study will be coordinated with the Israel Research Council.
