Twenty-seven American Jewish officers and soldiers arrived here today aboard a special U.S. Air Force plane to celebrate Purim in Israel. All are regularly stationed in Germany and France.
Two hundred immigrants from North Africa and another 20 from Iron Curtain countries arrived here this week-end aboard the S.S. Artza. The Iron Curtain group included 14 from Hungary, 5 from Bulgaria and 1 from Poland. The Iron Curtain immigrants said that new groups of immigrants were expected to arrive shortly.
