U.S. Middle East envoy Dennis Ross will lead the U.S. team in separate alks Tuesday with Israeli and Palestinian officials, the State Department said. Israeli Foreign Minister Shlomo Ben-Ami and Palestinian negotiator Saeb Erekat will meet U.S. mediators at an undisclosed location in the Washington area, State Department spokesman Philip Reeker said.
