U.S. prosecutors will seek the death penalty against an avowed white supremacist accused of killing a Filipino American mailman after he wounded five people at a Jewish community center in Los Angeles last August. The motion was filed following authorization by U.S. Attorney General Janet Reno to seek the death penalty against Buford Furrow Jr.
