Israel doctors will aid the U.S. Public Health Service in gathering research data on cancer of the womb — a condition rare in Jewish women — Dr. Zalman Grinberg, medical director of Beilinson Hospital in Israel, said today after a tour of government medical facilities.
Dr. Grinberg was honored at a luncheon tendered him by U.S. Surgeon-General Leonard Scheele and members of his staff. He is in the U.S. in connection with the $10,000,000 fund-raising campaign of the Histadrut. Doctors of the U.S.P.H.S. conducted Dr. Grinberg on a tour of the Service’s national institutes for health at Bethesda, Md. Dr. Grinberg said the U.S.P.H.S. may provide copies of plans of American research facilities so that they may be incorporated into new designs for hospitals and research centers in Israel.
