U.S. Secretary of State Colin Powell warned Israel of the consequences of killing or exiling Yasser Arafat. “The United States government does not support the elimination of him or the exile of Mr. Arafat,” Powell told Fox News Sunday. “The consequences would not be good ones. I think you can anticipate that there would be rage throughout the Arab world, the Muslim world and in many other parts of the world.”
