U.S. Senator Thomas Denounces Hitler’s Rule

United States Senator Elbert D. Thomas of Utah, a former professor of the University of Utah, denounced Adolf Hitler in an address here.

Senator Thomas’ address given under the auspices of the extension division of the University of Utah, summarized his investigations gathered on a recent extensive tour of Europe. He referred to the German dictator as “Hitler, the demagogue and fanatic,” and declared that conditions in Germany will not permit the building of a lasting government.
