The Jewish Agency in New York today issued the following statement by Dr. Nahum Goldman: “The Jewish Telegraphic Agency reported last week that the plenary session of the Jewish Agency Executive, which met in Jerusalem, recommended the convening of a national conference of American Zionists to deal with political problems.
“The Executive had merely been informed that the American Zionist Council had for some time now been considering the convening of a national conference to deal with internal Zionist problems only. If such conference is convened, it will be at the initiative of the American Zionist Council.”
