UJA-Federation of New York made a $250,000 grant to provide food and other humanitarian aid to more than 16,000 Falash Mura in Ethiopia. The grant was made to the American Jewish Joint Distribution Committee, which is assisting the Falash Mura, who are descendants of Ethiopian Jews who converted to Christianity.
