Ukraine Jews Prepare for High Holy Days As ‘red’ Periodical Protests

Great preparations for the coming High Holiday are reported by the Soviet press in the Ukrainian towns of Kamenetz-Podolsky, Bar and Nemirov.

Synagogues in these and other towns are being repaired by local Jews, it is reported.

The Communist newspaper, Emess, demands immediate anti-religious action to hamper these preparations.
