Most of the Jewish shops in Galatz, Roumania, were plundered Thursday by crowds of unemployed, Jewish transients passing through Czernowitz declare.

A menacing anti-Semitic wave is sweeping over that section of Roumania, it is declared.

Confirmation of this report from the supposed scene of disorder is entirely lacking, due perhaps to the censorship probably imposed by the Galatz authorities.
