Creation of a united Rumanian Jewish organization on a religious basis was decided upon today at a congress of Jewish leaders from all parts of the country. The congress was presided over by Dr. Wilhelm Filderman, president of the Union of Rumanian Jews, and speakers included included Chief Rabbi Alexander Safran.
