United Nations Body Begins Discussion of Discrimination and Minority Problems

Communications relating to discrimination and minorities were discussed here today at a closed meeting of the United Nations Sub-Commission on the Prevention of Discrimination and the Protection of Minorities.

Later, at an open session, the body, which began its latest series of meetings yesterday, adopted an agenda. Included on the agenda is a discussion of concrets recommendations to prevent discrimination; a discussion of the definition and classification of minorities; and; an examinition of proposals for measures to implement the International Bill of Human Rights.
