United Nations nameplates were removed from streets and squares throughout Israel Wednesday in a wave of demonstrations against the General Assembly’s anti-Zionist resolution, Commemorative UN street signs were taken down in Jerusalem; Tel Aviv, Haifa, Netanya and other towns. Demonstrations were held outside the Mexican and Brazilian embassies, both of which voted for the resolution.
