On the ground that the territory he resides in is in the “occupied zone”, the Jewish Deputy Bredney has been deprived of his seat in the Sejm. Proposals to unseat similarly two non-Jewish deputies also hailing from the “occupied zone” were defeated by the Sejm.

There is strong competition between the Jewish workmen and merchants over the candidate to succeed Brodney’s seat.
