That the Pope should issue an appeal to the Christians of the world to save Palestine from the Zionists is the demand of the Haifa Christian-Arab paper, “El Carmel,” in its issue today.
The paper urges the creation of an Arab fund of £2,000,000 which should be used for the purchase of all the available land in Palestine, which is in danger of coming into the possession of the Zionists. The fund should be used to establish a credit bank for the purpose of assisting Arab agriculturists and traders.
