A delegation of the Vaad Leumi (National Council of Palestine Jews) visited Sir Herbert Samuel and stressed the importance of the legalization of the Jewish communities before the election of the Legislative Council. Sir Herbert promised to do all in his power to expedite the legalization.
Leaders of the Vaad are complaining that all of their demands are being rejected by the High Commissioner. whereas, they declare, the Arab proposals receive cordial consideration and even approval.
