B’nai B’rith officials here have asked the Anti-Defamation League office to aid in the investigation of the desecration of a picture in the B’nai Israel synagogue in Northampton, Mass.
Leonard Alberts, president of the Northampton Lodge, B’nai B’rith, reported that a picture of synagogue officials had been removed from its frame and after the vandals had scrawled anti-Semitic writings on the photograph it was replaced in the frame. Northampton police are investigating the matter.
