Vandals ransacked some 14 graves at a Jewish cemetery near Moscow. The cemetery is run by the Moscow synagogue, Marina Roscha, that was bombed last month. Meanwhile, the New York Board of Rabbis last week presented the chief rabbi of Moscow, Pinchas Goldschmidt, with $3,600 last week to help rebuild the shul.
