That the University of Vienna has on its staff 199 Jewish teachers is the fact revealed today by the anti-Semitic press here, by its publication of a blacklist of the Jewish teachers.
The majority of the names mentioned in the list are of professors, instructors and assistantson the medical faculty of the University. 45 on the list are professors of Philosophy, and 28 are professors of jurisprudence.
This intended blacklist is at the same time a list of honor for Austrian Jewry, for the majority of the names mentioned in it are of universally known scholars.
