The memory of Hirsch Lekert, one of the Jewish champions against the Czaristic regime in Poland, was honored by the City Council of Vilna through a decision adopted yesterday.

The Council decided to rename Skladowa Street, Hirsh Lekert Street. Hirsh Lekert shot the Czarist governor general of Vilna, von Wall.
