On the eighth day of his 28-day hunger strike, Dr. Wolfgang von Weisl was today removed from the Latrun detention camp to a hospital here.
Dr. von Weisl is conducting his fast as a protest against British policy in Palestine. He has refused to heed the request of Chief Rabbi Ben Zion Usiel and Prof. Joseph Klausner who urged him to call off the hunger strike and not to risk his life.
