A. L. Easterman, political director of the World Jewish Congress, has conferred with the Netherlands and Belgian legations here on the case of Anneke Beekman, Jewish child who was spirited out of Holland by her Catholic fostermother to a Belgian convent. The child was moved again later and her whereabouts are not now known to the Jewish community.

Mr. Easterman, who entered the discussions at the legations only after meeting with representatives of the Dutch Jewish community, informed the diplomats of the concern of world Jewish circles with the affair. He was assured at both legations that the views he presented would be made known to the respective governments.
