Walter Hesselbach First German to Receive Honorary Doctorate from Tel Aviv U

Walter Hesselbach, President of the German-Israel Chamber of Commerce and Vice-President of the German-Israel Friendship Society, has received an honorary doctorate from Tel Aviv University for his work in promoting relations between the two countries. He is the first German to receive this honor from an Israeli university. Mr. Hesselbach is chairman of the Trade Union Bank which has commercial relations with Israel.
